Healthcare services in Konya are primarily organized into three main categories. The city’s largest and most modern healthcare facility is Konya City Hospital, located in the Karatay district. With thousands of beds and numerous outpatient clinics, it serves as the region’s main hub. In the city center, the Konya Numune Hospital in the Selçuklu district and the Beyhekim Training and Research Hospital are other public institutions providing intensive services. In the Meram district, the Dr. Ali Kemal Belviranlı Hospital stands out, specializing particularly in pediatrics and obstetrics.

How do I get to Konya City Hospital?

Konya City Hospital is located in the Karatay district. You can reach the hospital by taking the Adliye tram line, which departs from the city center and various other locations, and riding it to the final stop. Municipal buses and minibuses also stop at the bus stops in front of the hospital.

Appointments for Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine and Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Faculty of Medicine are made through the hospitals’ own online appointment systems or call centers. Since these institutions are not affiliated with the Ministry of Health, appointments are not available through 182 (MHRS).

In life-threatening emergencies, it is recommended to go to the nearest fully equipped public hospital (City Hospital, Numune, or Beyhekim). For pediatric emergencies, the Dr. Ali Kemal Belviranlı Women’s, Obstetrics, and Pediatric Hospital in the Meram district is one of the centers with the most comprehensive pediatric emergency departments.
